I've always been very proud of my heritage and eager to share it with others. Growing up in a Filipino household shaped my values of family and education, while also grounding me in traditions, food, travel, and performances that I embrace as part of my identity.
I love to travel with my family and have visited 14 different countries throughout Central America, Europe, and Asia. Traveling allows me to explore new cultures through their clothing, language, food, and history, and it has taught me the value of cultural awareness, which I hope to carry into my nursing career when caring for diverse patients.

Photography is one of my favorite hobbies, allowing me to capture meaningful moments in nature, culture, and everyday life. Whether it’s a vivid sunset, a community performance, or small details often overlooked, I enjoy using my cameras to tell stories through images.
Since moving to Dominican, I’ve developed a love for watching live shows--from concerts to musicals--especially in San Francisco. My roommate and I even started a tradition of seeing a musical at Orpheum Theater every semester, as a way to destress and enjoy time together outside of schoolwork.
