Student Teaching

My student teaching is taking place where I learned that I wanted to be a teacher! I believe it is very important to give back to the place that saved me in many ways. This is where I spent 4 years of my life growing in so many different ways. About 1,400 students are on the campus in the small country town of Petaluma where Butters n Egg is found, or Friday night under the lights is a highlight for everyone.

As a student teacher, I am teaching 10th grade Physical Education & 9th grade Human Interaction. These are two subjects that go hand in hand with each other. For 10th grade Physical Education, students will learn all about team sports and working with each other. Human Interaction is a mandatory class for incoming freshman. This class integrates all topics that can be helpful as a student at a new school including, mental health, HIV/STDS, AA/NA, relationships, healthy eating, and much more!
