As a philosophy major, I am always encouraging the skill of critical thought! Without critically thinking, one cannot develop and build one's own ideas!

Students in my class will be asked to take time to reflect on the material. This type of reflection will bring them further into examining what it is we are learning and how their personal experiences can help evolve their ideas. Again, by being able to do this and then be able to communicate those experiences or ideas to then be able to collaborate with those around you will always help other's around them build their own ideas, too.

Thus, elevating the people around you to think higher... higher...and higher!

Critical thought is certainly a part of my daily classroom and inserting it into our curriculum, everyday. I will be doing all that I can to integrate other subject matter and bigger ideas to help the students understand the connections in our day to day life.
