This project seemed very fun when he explained it but was much more challenging than expected. Thinking of a story that could have movement and was significant enough was quite difficult. After a lot of trial and error I made my project about the time I got cut by a rusty nail. The moving component I added was the nail moving through my chest. This project was fun overall and I enjoyed using AI to make my vision come to life.
This project had a really great end result. That was the only great part about it. I picked this tool because I thought it would be easy, I was wrong. It ended up being the death of me, it was arguably the hardest part of the project. The shadows from the tool were also a pain in the butt to shade. This took lots of time and tips from Laangmack. I'm glad I did the project because the result was good and it was fun to see my parents' reactions but the work and frustration made me not want to do it again.
This project was the most fun to do but gave me the worst result. I learned that color matching and patience are not my thing. Laangmack had to help me a lot on the clouds because they just never looked right. After his help I was able to figure it out but I wish I could do it again after I acquired more knowledge. I did enjoy how therapeutic it was though.
This project was super fun. At first I didn't know what to do and then I kinda just shaped my jar into this after getting inspiration from one of my friends. The hardest part of the project was painting it. I didn't really know what colors to do and once I picked them out it was hard to layer it around the holes. Overall I really enjoyed this project and the outcome of it as well.
This project was pretty fun. I love working with clay and this a was a great was a great way to express creativity. During the laying out process of the coils my design changed a little but it stayed the same mostly. If there was one thign I could change it would probably be the color. I like the white but it got really see through since I don't think I did enough layers. Other than that I liked this project and would do it again.
Clay whistle
This project was really fun. It started off as kind of a weird process but once we started making it our own I enjoyed it. Everyone was making cute stuff but I decided to go another route, The Lorax. He kinda turned out weird looking but overall I think he turned out great. The colors are very bright and fun, just like me.
Watercolor Animal
I didn't like this project. I feel like if I could do it again with the knowledge I have now I could do a lot better. I had a really hard time getting the colors right because they weren't the same as my reference photo. My end result is not what I was expecting and I don't necessarily like it. I think if I could do this again I would be way happier with the end result.
Oil Pastel
This is my oil pastel insect. I really enjoyed this project and felt that it was easy to customize. I started with the background which is supposed to give a blurry effect compared to a very clear flower and butterfly. The flower was by far the hardest part because the flower in the photo was very flat compared to what was required. Overall I liked this project and how my drawing turned out.
