India

In this project we will be drawing an orphan from India with either pencil, oil pastel, or colored pencil. I am very excited for the project, especially knowing that the child will be receiving the drawing and that I have the opportunity to be a blessing to them and brighten their day in some way, even from so far away, brings me a lot of joy!

These past few week of practices have been both fun, creative, and challenging. I learned how different art materials can create different looking portraits and the different challenges with each. Personally, oil pastels were the most difficult out of the 3 practices for me and pencil was the easiest. However I am choosing the colored pencil because I wanted to draw Mohit with color and while I need to improve and learn more of the technique I am willing to risk it in order to bring color to my drawing and prayerfully bless my child with my efforts.
