The pictures above are in order of how I worked on them, the first being pencil. I really enjoyed pencil, and loved the way that the practice turned out. Then, I moved on to colored pencil, which was by far the hardest medium out of the three. I tried to start by putting the color on lightly, which did not leave to an opaque, crisp drawing. The coloring was difficult for me. Finally I did the oil pastel, which I enjoyed very much. The colors blended nicely and it looked the most life like.

This was the final project. I am very happy with the way that it turned out. My favorite part to do was probably the eyebrows or the shirt. The shirt was fun because I got to do it his favorite color. The background was also really enjoyable, the blues ended up complimenting his shirt really well and almost giving the illusion that it is popping off the page.
