For my hand drawing, I learned more about value. I learned how to shade and make it look realistic. My favorite part was shading my wrist because adding it to the end really make my drawing pop, by adding more value and my veins make it so much more realistic. I would rate my drawing a 10/10. I would love to do this project again because it was fun to see it come together.
For my bug painting, I began my painting very confidently, but later I started to get disappointed because my entire background was not matching the rest of the colors. I also became disappointed in my leaves because I was not happy with how they looked. Next, I moved on to the bug I had a fun time painting all the little details and was excited to be done with the background. Overall I would rate it a 9/10. I would want to do this painting again just to see if I could make the background and leaves better.
For my jar, I made a small jar with a ball on top of the lid. I painted red, pink, and blue flowers with gradients inside. I would rate this project a 9/10 because it was fun to experiment with different shapes and patterns, and to be able to paint it to my liking, but had a hard time making the jar hold a straight shape.
For my bowl, I had a hard time coming up with a design but ended up being really happy with it. I rate this project a 7/10 because my bowl did fall apart in the beginning, and for my second one, I had a harder time blending it and creating a whole new design.
For my whistle, I made Mike Wazowski with his Monster Scare Hard Hat. I would rate this project a 9/10 because it was very fun to experiment with different things and to be able to make whatever I wanted, but making the actual whistle part was a struggle. I would definitely recommend this project to a friend, or do it again.
For this project I painted a frogfish, I rate this an 8/10 although it was fun to mess around with watercolor I wasn't very happy with the end result because I had a hard time creating different shades and values of orange and felt that I could make it better but it was my first time. But I would do this project again to try to be happy with my end result.
For this project, I carved a blue jay onto rubber and used ink to print it on different papers. I did a plain black stamp, a rainbow stamp, and a double stamp. I would rate this project a 10/10 because I liked craving the rubber and it was fun to experiment with different stamp ideas.
For this project, I took 2 pieces of paper and 7 pieces of foam boards and created a foam box. I am really happy with how it turned out because I love the creative paper and the way the nameplate looks with it. I rate this project a 10/10 because it was fun and easy to make.
