Raku Tea Bowl

This project was a good starting project for 3D art. It got me back into working with clay. I am happy with how this project turned out.

Carved Plate

The plate that I made ended up turning out very good and I love how it ended up looking. If I could do this project again the one thing I would change is trying to be more precise when carving out the paint, I think it would have helped with the overall neatness of the project.

Impressive Box

For this box I was really happy with the designs on the lid and the sides. I wish I would have done three layers of glaze instead of four. I think it made my designs on the sides not as visible and a different color would have made the designs more evident. Overall I am happy with how it turned out.

Personal Logo

This project was relly fun., I go to incorparate all of my faviorte things about myself into a small box. I think if one of my friends were to see this they would be able to know that this was mine, which is exactly what the point of this project was. I love all of the little details that I added to make it even more personal. Overall I think it came out really amazing.

Bronze Clay Animal

For this project I made a bronze leopard. I enjoyed making this, it started off easy and got harder as the project got more detailed. I took lots of time creating the leopard print pattern and am so happy with how it turned out!

Wheel Throwing

For this project I made two bowls, one cup, and one mug. This project was challenging; having to center the clay every time was a struggle. It got better but still not my strongest skillset. I love how everything came out and am super proud of how far I came with wheel throwing.

Coiled Vase

Creating my coiled vase taught me how to pay attention to detail. I enjoyed shaping the clay by hand and watching it slowly turn a piece of art. This project helped me improve me skills and also to be more creative.
