I chose to draw the board game candy land out of the 9 shapes because I immediately visualized the top left shape as a castle. Yet it was not just a regular castle, I saw a candy castle. Although this was very fun to draw, I had some difficulties figuring out what to make out of the rest of the shapes. Trying to remember all the different candies that looked somewhat similar too the pre-drawn shapes.
When making this hand drawing I found myself quite frustrated because I regretfully did not trust the process. I decided to follow my own brain instead of following instructions. Thankfully with Langmacks help I received my drawing to a better state.
When making this landscape painting I chose to paint the infamous rocky hill. Langmack, our teacher, told us to instead of focusing on trying to make an exact replica of the insperation picture, to focus on the shapes of colors. To say this was harder than expected is an understatement, it took so many tries to get the perfect shapes of colors. Over all I feel somewhat satisfied with how this turned out.
