For this project we first formed our clay plates. Then we glazed our plate, lastly we etched out or designed so that we could scratch it out once it was dry.

For this project we made a pinch pot that we would end up glazing. The fun part about this project was the firing part. We took our bowls out of the kiln at 2000 degrees and place them straight into sawdust and let them sit enclosed for a little, letting them sit took the oxygen molecules out of the glaze leaving the glaze oxidized and iridesent.

For this project we were given popsicle sticks to design our box. We cut the popsicle sticks using plyers and pressed it into our box making a unique design. This is where the name "Impressive Box," comes from. Overall I think this project turned out somewhat good, it wasn't what I was expecting, but it was still very fun.
