Face Drawing:
This self portrait is the first art piece of 2-d art. It was definitely a fun piece to do even though it was weird staring at a picture of myself and having to draw it. My favorite part of this piece to do was my eyes and eyebrows; it brought a lot of life to the drawing with the face shading done. It definitely was a fun piece to work on and I am super excited for the next project we do.
This project was definitely a tough one it took a little longer because at the beginning I spent to much time trying to color match the paint to the actual picture. I finally decided to just do the colors I wanted to do. This project was fun though because I got to change the background and certain things about the cupcake. My favorite part is the blueberries and the yellow wall I just feel like they go really well together.
Scratch Art Project
I really enjoyed this project it was fun scratching a section and then putting the black paper under to see your progress. It was a very straight forward and easy project and I had a lot of fun seeing the result of all the scratching . It was also fun to have a plain black and white image and then water color another.
Watercolor Architecture :
I really loved this project. This is a watercolor of Lynden Washington, a small dutch town where some of my family lives and we visit for family reunions every two years. Lynden has a very special place in my heart so when I learned we were doing this project I knew I wanted to paint this scene. I really liked doing the bricks on the building and the windmill. The only thing I wish showed up better was the white on the sails of the windmill but other than that I really love how this painting turned out.
Colored Pencil Art
I really enjoyed this project. It was a really fun way to end 2-D art. This is definitely one of my favorite art projects that I've ever done. It was really cool to learn how to draw the tires, metal, and reflections on the truck. I didn't expect this truck to turn out this good because the practice wasn't my favorite but I really do love how this turned out.
