For this project we made tea bowls and put them in the kelm outside. This was a really cool experience and I got to learn a lot on how different kinds of bowls look and are made.
This project was very satisfying and brain numbing. We got to scratch out the pattern out of clay. I liked this project because it made me think of the tiles in my grandmas house and it was really easy to do.
For this project we were instructed to make an impressive box where "impress" different designs into the clay. I chose to have a flower theme to mine where I used a stamp that looked like a sun and a flower mold that i pressed into all the sides of the box. This project was pretty difficult but it ended up looking really cool in the end.
The 3D animal project was very fun because we got to choose an animal that we wanted and make it out of nothing but clay. The difficult part of this was trying to highlight the mucles and wrinkles on the animal but I really enjoyed giving it it's texture. The bronze paint really gave the statue look that made it all come together.
This was my favorite project for 2 main reasons. One being I got to laugh with my friends because I was very bad at it in the beginning and it was fun memories we made. The other being I got to make many things and I got to give them as gifts to family members and even some were displayed in a house that our family is remodeling and selling. I really loved this project and it taught me how to be a problem solver and Langmaacks devotional was very good.
This project was a super quick project that I really enjoyed. I enjoyed the laughs I shared with my friends about my project because I had to restart 3 times and it was frustrating but I got to learn a lot from it. I learned to pick an easier design and not overcomplicate it. This was really fun and a great way to end my 3D art career.
