Clay Lantern

I made a lantern out of clay. It was fun to make and learn about the ways to make a lantern out of clay. I like the color, and the crack in the corner gives it character.

Sgraffito Plate

In this assessment i made a plate with clay. we made the plate then put the glaze on it. after that dried we scratched in the design using a knife. The color i used was sun kissed or something like that. This assessment was fun and i enjoyed doing it.

Personal 3d Logo

For this project we made our initials into a 3d logo. It is made out of foam, tape, and wet paper towel. My initials are DAV So i made the D backwards and it has a windmill in it, the A into the tent, and the V into the edge of the tent and the tree. This project was fun and i enjoyed doing it.

Realistic foam sculpture

For this project i built a glue bottle out of foam. It is the one on the left. This project was fun because i learned how to construct things out of sign foam. I originaly was going to make a pizza but i scraped that to build the glue bottle.

Realistic clay animal

For this project we made realistic animals out of clay, And then painted them. I made a heron. At the beginning of the project i was a little too ambitious with my plans. I was planing to make legs and some rocks, but that took to long. It took a long time for me to finish it because i didnt like painting it so i just did other things.
