For this project we started out as drawing and coloring lines in a 3x3 boxes and then we took away the lines to see what we could make without the line restrictions. During this project most of the time was used to think of ideas for the lines. While working on this project I gained a ton of new drawing skills.
For this project, we took a picture of our hand with a tool and copied it down. We used the picture to transfer our hand to a drawing on the paper. We copied it by using the doubling method, which makes our printed photo appear to a realistic size. Once we got our hand-drawn drawing down, we would shade using shading pencils and a blending stump to shade in. We knew what to shade by the shadows in the picture. After I worked on making crisp edges to make the picture more realistic-looking. It all started to look better.
