For this project, we start out learning how clay works and how to use it. Next, we learned how to make a ball and a rectangle to start to begin the whistle. After we made the ball and the rectangle, we put the rectangle on the ball and made it flat so the wind that will soon go through the rectangle will go straight through. Then, after that, we got a popsicle stick and a pencil and carved out the whistling mechanism. After we got the mechanism working, we would start to make our desired clay sculpture. I started a turtle after I was done making the shape. We put it in the furnace to harden. After that, I started painting with the brown and green paint. After all that, it was ready to be put in the furnace, and after that, it would be finished.
