In this project we got to pick a story from any point in our life and try to make it come to life. I chose the story of when my finger got cut off in a door hinge. I was just a baby when it happened. This project was really fun because everyone was doing their own thing and no two projects were the same.
In this project we took a picture of our hand holding a tool and then drew it. This project was actually not as hard as it looks. It took a while getting used to all of the different schemes we used to resize the photo, but overall I loved this project. I loved the tracing and adding shadow and making it look more 3D.
In this project we picked a landscape and painted it. We traced it out on the canvas and painted over it. I had some trouble with getting my trees to look 3D, but Langmaack helped me and showed me how to do that. This project is probably one of my favorites as I love 2D projects.

This may look like a sea turtle, but it's actually a whistle. This project really brought out my creativity. I love the shape of my turtle, but I wish the color turned out better. I tried to lighten the colors to make it more pastel by adding white, but it just made it blotchy. But at least it makes a great whistle sound.
This project we got to make and design a big clay bowl. I had fun designing where I wanted to have cutouts and how I would execute that. My bowl did crack in some places because I didn't blend enough, but I do like how it turned out.
In this project we picked an underwater animal and painted it with a color scheme. I watercolored a stingray that is monochromatic blue. I loved the blending part to this project and adding all of the layers. I found it hard to get the background just right, but overall I do like how it turned out.
This oil pastel insect project is now my top favorite project in Intro to Studio Art. I had a blast blending all the colors and I spent so much time on this project. I loved the colors on my butterfly and I loved adding those details and shading to my project.
This stamp project was super fun. We picked a picture of a bird, edited it, and carved it onto a plaque. We put ink on the plaque and then stamped it onto a piece of paper. I did double prints, rainbow prints, and lots of other cool prints.
