In this project, we took a couple weeks to draw our face. We used different techniques on our eyes, hair, neck, and teeth. I overall do like this project and how it turned out. If I could do it over again, it would improve so much because of all the things that I have learned from this project.
In this project, we went straight into painting a food of our choice. I decided to paint a pomegranate. It took me a lot of time to paint each of the little seeds individually, but I like how they turned out. I decided to do a tealish blue as my background color because it makes the maroon and green leaves pop. I loved this project and love how it turned out
For this animal etching project we had a slab of plexi glass and we scratched the lines of our animal. To print we put ink on the entire thing so it would seep into the lines we etched and then it would print onto paper. I ecthed my golden retriever dog because it is my sister and brothers favorite dog. I gave them each prints of him so my sister could take it with her to college and my brother could hang it in his room. Overall I loved this project.
For this architeture watercolor I chose this picture with lots of florals and plants. I was worried about how I was going to watercolor the flowers, but I ended up just doing lots of layers of the pinkish red color. I like how they turned out, but if I could go back and change something, I would make the green leaves darker so it compliments the flowers more because right now the green is sort of hidden by the bright pink of the flowers. I loved this project and it may even be my favorite so far this year.
I chose to color pencil an old school red bronco for my colored pencil transportation project because in high school my mom drove one and I drew this for her. I loved this project a lot. The hardest part was the tires and the grill. If I were to do this project over again, I would add more details to the hood. I overalled loved this project and think I learned so much from it.
