I really enjoyed making this. I didn't even know that people made these kind of things. I thought people just used normal cups. It was REALLY cool when we did the fire thing, but Rylie, Kendall, and I were the only ones that volunteered to help with the fire part. I think that it looks really cool even thought it probably woln't hold liquid. Haha
This was very fun to make. When we began "carving" I first "carved" too deep because the clay was so soft from the wetness of the glaze, but looked at an example and corrected. I thought that it was really relaxing after I got past the glazing part. I did a dark blue because I wanted to make it look a little delft-ish. The corner chipped a little (Top Right) which was very sad. I think that my mom will like it to put "coffee time" snacks on it.
This box was really fun to make and I think that it turned out great. I didn't really know what color to glaze it. I was debating between light blue and yellow, but I thought that yellow would go better in the guest room which is where I will probably put it because I don't really have room in my bedroom.
I really enjoyed this project. It was very fun for me to make the boots. To make the boots I took fake leather and cut it to shape, then I embroidered it to make it look like a real boot. I really like the tennis ball. To hang the tennis ball we got a dog toy and I poked a hole into the ball and the top of the logo. I got fishing string and tied a knot, put the knot in the hole and put glue in to hold it in. My logo also tips a little bit, but I'm not quite sure how it isn't level. Over all it was very fun to make!
