Pencil self portrait

For this portrait, It took a great amount of time learning how to blend certain pencil marks, and how to draw every single detail. The goal of this was to expand my skills within pencil sketching.  After the portrait, I think having this skill to will highly affect my future art work.

Oil Food Drawing

This painting took a long time focusing on the lights and darks of the photographic reference. I really learned the difference between the two and used it to my ability to create this piece. The goal was to use expressionism to paint these three donuts. I really took charge with the colors and achieved my goal.

Llama Scratch Art

This project took long hours of just sitting down and scratching. I had to learn how to use the Exacto knife just right. I had to find the correct length, shape, and quantity of the lines that I needed to create the final project. The goal of this was to focus on value and drawing. I feel that I succeeded since I can really tell the darks from the whites.

Architectural Watercolor

This project took a long time to really focus on the tones and hues of the colors used. I learned about the importance of water when it comes to watercolor. I also learned how a white gel pen can really enhance your painting. The goal of this painting was to get all the right shading. I feel that I succeeded in my goal but overall, it was not my favorite project.

Colored Pencil Transportation

This project really emphasized color, shapes and shadows. I learned alot about all three. One thing I really took away from it was learning to use a brown instead of a dark gray to make shadows. The goal here was to be able to display a realistic view of transportation. I feel that I succeeded and I am very happy with how this drawing turned out.
