This is my Final Blocking project. It is a helicopter made out of only using basic primitives. I used the move and rotate tool to move the objects I created to place them in the correct spots. What inspired me to create this 3D model is that I like a challenge and I thought a helicopter would be fun to make. I am proud that I could make a decent looking helicopter using only basic primitives. Some challenges I faced were creating the outside of the helicopter and making it the front windows round.

This is the Spaceship that I created. This object that I created is a spaceship although it also looks like a war plane. Some techniques I learned are the edit poly tools like extrude, bevel, chamfer, and soft select. What I'm most proud about this project was how the spaceship turned out good and how I learned how to use the edit poly tools. One goal I have is learning how to make it more realistic.

This 3D model is called Cartoon Head. It looks like a cartoon character's head and the eyes are inward. Some tools I used were the poly edit tools which consist of extrude, bevel, chamfer, and soft select. Something I'm proud of about this 3D model is that I made the character how I wanted it to be. A challenge that was hard was creating the mouth to be mouth-like.

This 3D model is called Chess Pawn. It is blue and has curves to make it look like a chess pawn. Some tools I used are the line tool, ProBulean tool, and the reflection tool. I am proud of this because I made the pawn into 3D shape with good curves on the side. One challenge I faced during this process was making the line around the chess pawn.

This 3D model is called Submarine. It looks like a space shuttle and has fins on the side and it also has a hatch. Some tools I used during this were the align tool and the ProBulean tool. Something that I am proud of, is that the hatch I created was really good and it took some time to work on it. One challenge I had was creating the hatch and making it look good.

This 3D model is a shipping box and it looks like a shipping box with the fragile sticker and the textures. The tool I used was the material editor and added images I customized from Photoshop. I decided to have this in my portfolio because I thought it was cool. I also added this because I wanted to show people how realistic I can make a box from a 3D model. Another thing in my portfolio is because it was one of my favorite 3D objects so I put it in here. The last reason I put this in here is because it was kind of challenging. One thing that challenged me was I was editing the images in Photoshop but one thing that helped me was one of my friends helping me.

This 3D model is a bed thing I made using Photoshop with different colors. The tool I used for this was Edit Poly, UVW Unwarp, and Photoshop. The reason I chose this for my portfolio Is because this is the first piece i used Photoshop and that's important to me. Another reason I added this is because I was proud of how this turned out for my first time using Photoshop. Something I learned from this project that I can use in the future is the UVW Unwarp and using Photoshop to make objects more realistic. Something that challenged me was figuring out how to use the UVW Unwrap.

This 3D model is a tank that I made on my own and added my own textures like the wheels, the logo, and the camo. The tool I used was Edit Poly, UVW Unwarp, and Photoshop. The reason I chose this for my portfolio is because I worked on this really hard on this project and spent a lot of time on it. Another reason I chose this for my portfolio is because I thought the logo was really funny and cool. My final reason is because I thought the tank was a really fun project. A challenge I had was editing in Photoshop but I figured it out on YouTube.

This 3D model is a delivery box I made it has the necessary designs and looks pretty realistic with the tear. The tool I used was the material editor and that helped a lot. The reason I used this in my portfolio is because this was one of the first things i made when using the material editor. My second reason is because I like how it turned out for the first time when I used the material editor. My final reason is because I liked it because it looked realistic and I felt proud about that. Something that challenged me was using the material editor because it was my first time and I had trouble but I asked the teacher and he helped me figure it out .

The reason I chose this for my portfolio is because I spent a lot of time choosing the textures. Another reason I chose this for my portfolio is because It looks cool. Something this can do to help me in the future is putting textures on other objects and making them look more realistic. Something that challenged me was using multiple materials.

In this project I have learned how to use animation to make my objects move to the way I want it to create an animation. One of the difficulties I had was the time constraints on the project, but I pushed through. Another challenge I had was moving my human becasue he was one object and I had to split up the parts. I was very proud of this project because it took me a lot of time to complete this. Overall I really enjoyed this project because I was able to learn all sorts of skills including better surface modeling and animation.

This is one of my top three projects because I got to create a scene from one of my favorite games to play. One of the difficulties I had was the time constraints on the project because I couldn't texture the truck and the house but i made it without it and that worked out. Another problem I had was creating the goat because I had to figure out what object to modeling, but i figured it out by trial and error. Overall I really enjoyed making this because I could make it out of my favorite video game and it helped me with my surface modeling and texturing.

This is one of my three because I got to create a head based on my ideas and I could do anything I wanted to do with the head. One of the challenges I had one this problem was making the eyes inward and that was a struggle, but I got some help from a friend and I got it working. Another problem was moving the polys on the head because I just started working on this and this really helped me with polys in the future. Overall I really enjoyed making this because I could make it any head shape that I wanted and this helped me with edit poly.
