I was inspired to create this board due to an idea I had. I had never seen a board game that has a board that expands vertically, therefore I decided to create one.

I feel like this piece demonstrates my skill in illustrator using the pen tool. I created all of these cards and the icons on them using the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator.

In this piece, I am most proud of the design. The design is very unique I feel and I haven't seen another game use any similar designs. Therefore I am very proud of this.

I planned on creating a comparison between these three games from start to finish. I created the comparison and then customized it to make it look better.

I am really proud of this because it is apart of my board game and explains my vision and how to play the game I created.

I am proud of this game because of the fact that it feels very stylized and polished. I spent a lot of time on the environment and am proud of how it turned out. The game feels polished and has a rewarding end. I plan on making more like this in the future.

I am proud of this project since it turned out so well. I went above and beyond to create extra game mechanics using the extra time I had. I was awarded extra credit due to all of the extra mechanics I added.

This was one of the first projects we made this quarter. I found this project very easy so instead of doing the basic approach, I added moving platforms via blueprint. I enjoyed doing this project. I think this project turned out well.

This project was one of the most fun projects we've done. All we did for this was play a video game and write about it. I enjoyed this game while also learning a lot about the history of video games.

This is an earlier version of the FPS Target Shooter project. I included this because even though it is unfinished, I think it is still very good. I am proud of this prototype and would like to keep making stuff like this in the future.

This was one of my favorite project I made this quarter. I used many different techniques to create a detailed landscape and environment. Some examples are lighting, texturing, finding and placing models, and using the landscape tool. I am proud of this project and want to use these techniques in my future games.
3/26/25
This was also one of my favorite projects to do. I was able to fully whitebox the main area of my upcoming game project. I was inspired to create an island like this from games like The Forest or The Outer Wilds, which are both amazing survival/exploration games. I am excited to see this island after fully finished.

This was my Game Desing Document (GDD) For my upcoming game project which I named "Nightfall". This project helped me learn how to create a Game Design Document which is extremely important if I want to pursue a career in the Game Design industry. I am glad I learned how to do this because it is likely I will need to know this for the future.
3/26/25
This was similar to my GDD, but instead it helps set the mood for the game I am making. I used the same techniques I used to make the GDD for this project. I used my skills in Adobe Illustrator and design to create this document.
3/26/25
This was the pitch I used to pitch Nightfall to my class. I got a lot of great feedback on my main idea. I didn't get great feedback on my other ideas since it was clear I did not put as much thought into those. I have been working to incorporate the feedback I got into my project.

This was one of the side levels for my game. In this level you are completing a parkour level where you are running through torch lit tombs. This level was inspired by tomb runner and Indiana Jones. It contains stuff like: Swinging hammers, Rolling boulder, moving platforms.
5/29/25
This was also one of my side levels for the game. This level has you running through a fantasy cave with vines, mushrooms, plants, glowing crystals, and a glowing river. The objective is to match a given tune with the glowing crystals. To make the final product, I used the level sequencer for the sound effects and some of the animations.
5/29/25
This is the main level of my game. This level is filled with enemies that will track and chase you, you will have to find the points of interest to get to the side levels. In this piece, I am most proud of my use of the terrain tools. I used these tools to fully create this Island.

This data is from the play testers I had try the game after it was finished. My main challenge from this project was getting the right amount of playtesters to have try the game. Even though I still didn't get 25 playtesters, I got a few of my friends and family to try it.

This is the document I completed after I finished with the game production. From completing this project, I learned how important postmortems are for the game design industry. These postmortems explain what the developers did right and what they can do better which should help the developers do better in the future.
