About Our Founder:
Anna Buleza was in her senior year when she created AAPISC for Carrboro high school. She started AAPISC because there wasn't a group representing Asian students. She wanted to create a group that would benefit future students and strengthen the Asian community at Carrboro.
"I wanted to establish community within Carrboro where Asian students felt heard, empowered, supported, and welcomed." - Anna Buleza
