We can't show everyone's face because some parents did not approve of it so we covered the face or put a different photo. Parents are also website managers. Thank you for understanding!!!

History

It all started with two third graders, Mailys and Lara. right after the war in Ukraine started (spring 2022)them and their friends were inspired by pictures of the Ukrainian flag hanging in the halls of their elementary school. They decided to team up with a couple other friends (Rosie, Ace, Rosemary, and a few others) to make a giant flag on their playground out of chalk. They then created a club, Stop The War Committee, and resulted to raising money for charity. In early 2023, they took the club to the next level by changing the title from S.T.W.C. to Helping Our People Everywhere (H.O.P.E.), and organizing monthly fundraisers (plus making this website!) They are all now in 6th grade after three years of raising money and spreading kindness
