A team -

1st game: NRJH 16 - Blocker 25

2nd game: NRJH 23 - Blocker 23

Good job to our Lady Longhorns! We lost 16 - 25 in the first game, but that didn’t keep our A team from trying even harder. In the second game, we tied with Blocker 23 - 23. Although we didn’t win that match, the Longhorns still gave it their best and used it as an opportunity to learn.

3rd game - NRJH 15 - Blocker 11

Great job to our volleyball B team! We had lots of effort put in tonight by our girls against Blocker. In the first game, Nolan Ryan lost 17-25, but our team kept fighting and they persevered. That’s the Longhorn spirit! In the second game, we came back and won 25 - 19. Finally, in the last game, the Lady Longhorns pushed through and won 15 - 11. What a comeback! Already off to a great start this year!

September 13th: Girls 8th grade volleyball game (home) vs Friendswood

A team -

1st game: Nolan Ryan 21 - Friendswood 25

2nd game: Nolan Ryan 14 - Friendswood 25

Go Longhorns! In the first game, we lost to Friendswood 21 - 25. It was such a close game. In the second game, we lost 14 - 25. Keep up the good work ladies! It was a tough game for sure, but our A team gave it their all. Although we lost, our team will continue to strive for the best and keep working!

B team -

1st game: Nolan Ryan 16 - Friendswood 25

2nd game: Nolan Ryan 12 - Friendswood 25

Great game to our ladies ! We lost to Friendswood 16 - 25 in the first game, and we lost 12 - 25 in the next game. We had a difficult game against Friendswood, but the only way to win is to lose first. Our Longhorns put in so much hard work every day at practice, and they always try their hardest. Keep up the good work!

7th grade football home vs McNair

B team -

Great game from our Longhorns! The cheerleaders were cheering for them the whole time, and everyone tried their hardest in the boiling hot weather. In the end, we lost 6 - 23. Even though we didn’t win, we are still proud to be Longhorns and show our spirit. Keep trying! Good job Longhorns!

8th grade volleyball home vs McNair

1st game: Nolan Ryan 25 - McNair 5

2nd game: Nolan Ryan 23 - McNair 25

3rd game: Nolan Ryan 15 - McNair 9

What a match! In the first game, we absolutely dominated Mcnair with a score of 25 - 5. The Lady Longhorns had an extremely close second game with a loss of 23 - 25. In the third game, Nolan Ryan persevered and came through with a win, beating Mcnair 15 - 9. It was such a brilliant game played by our A team, and their hard work everyday at practice really payed off. Go Longhorns!

B team -

We won 25 - 16 in the first game. In the second game, we won 25 - 13. The Longhorns were so supportive of each other and worked together the entire time. There were many amazing serves and saves by Nolan Ryan, and we dominated McNair thanks to our amazing and hardworking players and coaches. We are so lucky to have them at our school. Keep up the good work!
