AI4BA 2024 -- Summer School on Artificial Intelligence for Biomedical Applications

The 1st AI4BA Summer School is a full-immersion five-day residential course on cutting-edge advances in artificial intelligence for biomedical applications, tailored for the top 14 PhD and Master's students from around the globe. The program is committed to fostering inclusivity and embracing diversity, creating a rich learning and research environment. 

The summer school is structured around four comprehensive courses delivered by internationally renowned experts in the field, supplemented with laboratories and seminars. Participants will also have the chance to present their results with posters and to interact with their peers, in a friendly and constructive environment. 

Our residential study week offers a unique combination of academic excellence and social enrichment, hosted in a magnificently restored ancient rural estate within the Sienese countryside. The program also emphasizes the importance of social interaction and community engagement, integrating social activities and volunteering projects alongside the academic schedule.
