THE MAN BEHIND PhET
Carl Edwin Wieman (born March 26, 1951) is an American physicist and educationist at Stanford University, and currently the A. D. White Professor at Large at Cornell University. This is the person responsible for the creation of the PhET application. Carl Wieman founded PhET Interactive Simulations at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2002 to enhance science and mathematics education through free, interactive simulations.
