Hi, my name is Samantha Botello!

I'm a junior in BHS's STEM Magnet Academy. I'm a part of our school's symphony and chamber orchestra, Tri M Music Honors Society, Celtic Club Ensemble, SAC (Student Academy Council), and outside of school I'm in EYSO (Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestras). In my free time, I like to play violin and bass, work on new crafts, play games with my little sisters, and hang out with my friends. I love working with circuitry and assembling creative projects. I enjoy exploring and learning new things, which is why I joined the STEM academy, a choice I'm super glad I made. I plan to pursue a career in music education as well as music performance, but I enjoy being in the academy for all of the skills and memories it's given me.

Hi, my name is Aanya Patel!

I am a Junior in BHS's STEM academy! I am a part of SAC (student Academy council), HOSA, and SASA. In my free time I like to volunteer at the hospital or work as rehab tech! I enjoy building machines and coding. I plan to pursue a career in biomedical engineering!

Hi, my name is Anthea Rosas!

I'm a junior in the BHS STEM Magnet Academy. I am part of the school's JV Girls Volleyball team, SAC (Student Academy Council), and AAPISU (Asian American Pacific Islander Student Union). I like to play piano, sing, read, and draw in my free time. I love to code and build machines using VEX, Arduino, or any other materials. I'm interested in learning more about coding in various languages, which is why I came to the STEM Academy. I plan on pursuing a career in software engineering and UI design. The academy provides a good portion of the knowledge and experience needed to go into those fields.
