Special Education

Special Education

Special Education is always busy at West Humber CI. Most students receive withdrawal support through their Learning Strategies class and their Individual Education Plan (IEP). Parent input is valued and welcomed at any time during the school year. Should you ever want to discuss your child’s IEP or have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact us. It is our mandate to work with you and your child to help them be as successful as possible. For further information regarding Special Education services available at the secondary level please visit the TDSB Special Education website

Read and Write Gold is a software program licensed by the board for use in the classroom as well as at home. This is a great literacy tool for everyone and we encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to use this program. For further information please contact us at the school.
