Movember is an annual event that takes place every November. Our goal is to spread awareness and support for men's health issues including mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.

Globally, on average, 1 man dies by suicide every minute of every day. In Canada, 3 out of 4 suicides are by men.

Prostate cancer is the 2nd most common cancer in men globally. Every year, more than 1.4 million men are diagnosed with prostate cancer.

The most common cancer in young Canadian men is testicular cancer. It has an amazing survival rate of over 95% but the long-term effects are strong and quality of life is often compromised.

During MCI's Movember campaign, volunteers will grow out their facial hair and you will have the chance to vote for your favourite contestant at the Fall Pep Rally on November 30th. The top contestant will shave off their facial hair at the end of the month!
