Unit 1:Manga

This is a schetch. This is to warm up before drawing. It is a lot of tipes of lines.

After warming up we drawed a 3D shape and shaded it nicley so, we can know were is the sushine coming from and it looks more realistic.

2. Observational Drawing Activity-Cylinder Composition

you draw a I shape but it needs to be symetrical otherwise the shape wont be perfect. 2. Next you draw a elipse and then you sketch and connect the lines to the olvals that you have drew. Or you can think of your own Idea and create your symmetrical vars! 3.After be carful of where you draw them and where you overlap. 4. Lastly, you rub out any lines.

This is all the materials we use to make this work.

This is my finall work. It encluded alot of shading and highlights with chalk.

I like this design because it has very good highlights and the diffrent kind of shapes and size is really good. I could have made it better by adding shaddows below to make it more realistic.

3. Manga vs Realistic Faces

This is my work but it is not finished. but next lesson I am going to finish my work and make it perfect.

4. Palow project

This is actually my real photo I use fotor to change into a manga character.

This is more of my photos. There is diffrent mode so it can make it more interesting, also it make you travel in other iteresting cool photos. The tipes I used were animation1, animation2, and illestration. These three photos I dont like them because one of them it made me turn into a boy! and the other one it made it like I look like a baby so I didnt like it but the last one I think it was too bright and too much so decided that I will keep the other one that dosnt have two hands and that dosnt have too much textures and the one that dosnt turn me into a boy so I decided the last picture I took was the best picture to print it out.

This is my overall work of my manga drawing. The wierd hand I had I delete the hand bit so it looks more realistic. We made the photo perfect by using the light box to trace it.

Drawing and final touches of manga drawing

This is some of more details about how I made this project. The blue sheet has a number and it is maching as your paper work so you can tell whos work it is. The closeup of the patterns is it is the pattern around the work. The hair bit is the complicated because I like my hair pattern so I made the hair thicker and made a light pattern for the hair to entertain the picture.

This is some of the project details I made. For example I used diffrent kind of finliners so I can see the diffrence of each thickness. Mostly I used 0.5 because itis thin so if you make any mistakes you can fix them really quickly.

This is the befor work wich is before the work I made with the blue sheet on and with few more details added to the next one.

I love this because I like how my hair turned out and the details in the clothes and the eyes with lots of effort in. I also like the bubble I drew to make it speak.

WWW:The work is amazing and I almost made no mistake wich made it looked better! EBI:I could have added some more details or prompts in the sprare places I regret that because it could have been way much better with the extra details I COULD have done.

This is Groya's. In my opnion I think she has the best design because of the shadows all around her body made it more realistic.

This is Ida's I took a photo of this because she inspired me to make my hair thicker and put light patterns all around the place.

This is allens the best artist in our class. I like this because this has the hobbies drawing that he likes so I like this.

This is a simple manga work BUT these work are what the proffesionals did. I f you pay extra attention to the hair it is way more detailed than us.

I love this because this work is very similar to the work that we did. the manga picture, and the speech bubles.

Japanese drawing

This is a flower outlining with ink. I did the outline first since it will be easier to outline it later.

This is a finished outlined flower but something is missing.... Its the COLORS!

When I added the colors I started the outline with light purple paint.

This is a stripe drawing for getting the flower ot get the hang of drawing with the paintbrush with ink.

This is my finished work. With all these ink and paint. For this work I liked how these paint blended into these other colors. Also inside the flowers the details were really good.

Japanese and chinese traditional paintings

This is the paint and the paintbrushes I used. We use diffrent paintbrushes for diffrent drawings that we are going to draw.

These are the trees and the branches. I also made them overlap eachother so I thought it would look more cool. The trees allneeded to be black because then the trees would stand out now.

This is the hill. The hill I still needed to blend in the mountain because if you blend in the drawings it will be better and look more realistic.

This is the picture from the cheat paper. We use cheat paper to make the drawings perfect.

This is a bird drewed by the cheat paper. It is harder because the bird has a lot of details.

Thi sis a boat. The boat needs to be bigger because the boat is usally biggr than birds and the boat is at the front so it is supposed to be bigger.

This is the leaves for the stick. We used a diffrent paintbrushes to paint the leaves. I used a fluffy paintbrush so it would make the leaves more complicated and better.

This is the cheat paper. It is black and you copy the shape of the object with the end of the brush and press quite hard on the cheat paper and after put hte cheatpaper away and you will get the shape that you wanted!

This is some of the shape and the words for the paintings. The words are harder because the words are complicated since they are chinese characters.

This is my finished work of my nihonga paintings. His paintings are usualy has mountains buildings river and even sometimes peoples! He makes Japanese and Chinese traditional paintings, although he is born from Japan the reason why the paintings are also Chinese is because those both contrys use the same traditional paintings! I liked mybamboos from the ground. First, I made my bamboo too thick so I needed to fix it by making the leaves edges thin and clean.

This is the paint that I used. I used green and blue. I chose green and blue because there are maching colors. I used 2 diffrent paintbrush one is thick and the other one is thin.

This is my friend using tissues to belnd it more in and getting and sucking the colors and the waters.

This is my finished flower drawing with the backround. I made the backround two colors the first colors is for around the flower is green and the backround is blue and alstly i blend them together.

Yayoi kusama

Kusamas some art work

This is kusamas flower pot vars work. If you look more closely you cans ee that this art work is made completetly by dots.

Thos is also a famous piece of art work that she made. She made it also with mirrors so that it looks like there is a lot of dots all around the room.

This is athe most famous art work of yayoi. It is a drawing of a pumpkin made with dots.

This is my finished crayon kusmas work. I used the crayons in diffrent kind of ways to make this art work. I used the crayon flat, pointy and normally. This theme of my work is under and above the water. I made diffrent kind of fishes and creatures with dots.

This is the pack of crayons we used to draw. They are lots of colors.

For this work we will use crayons and press it hard so the watercolors dosnt go in. And we make paterns with the crayons. There is a white crayon in this picture this crayon is really special. When you draw a drawing you cannot see the lines but when you put paint on it you can see the white lines.

This is kusamas work in the schools website. They are six examples in he picture. All of them in this pictures are shapes and dots.

Before the painting we will start our first half of the lesson by tracing our crayon work by pastel and fake pastel. We make the shapes clear so it will stand out when we add the paint.

This is the two diffrent types of the pastels were going to use. To know which pne is which we memorize with the shapes. The pastels which looks like a hexagon is the fake pastel which also blends with the paint really well and the real pastel is a normal pastel. The normal pastels shape is like round.

This is my final finished work. I like all the creatures and the animals and fishes I made with all vibrent colors and ith white wax so that when youlut paint over the white will stand out. I also like the setting where it is and the octopuses leg is streching. EBI I think I could have added more details.

Koinobori japanese flying fish art work

So before we start we are going to know what are POSCA PENS. Posca pens are pens that we shake and the ink will come out and we use it. It dosnt really go on your hands much and dosnt smutch muck but if we blend the colors together then we will be breaking the posca pwns so when we do 2 colors together we dry one and continue the other.
