SCHOLARSHIPS
The PQ Ambassadors, in addition to learning teaching and leadership skills, are also learning about the scholarship and college opportunities available in North Carolina. This includes the PCS Teaching Fellows Program, local grants, and scholarship applications.
NC STATE EDUCATION STUDENTS VISIT
The PQ Ambassadors served as tour guides of PCHS for a group of education majors from NC State University. The college students asked the PQ Ambassadors and Principal Mr. Drew questions about our community and school. The PQ Ambassadors also asked the NC State students about their college experience and journey into the field of education. The ambassadors then split into groups and gave the college students a tour of the PCHS campus. NC State even provided gift bags for the ambassadors, and they learned about the opportunities available for those interested in pursuing a teaching career.Â
