THE DATA SET
The UCLA Statistics Online Computational Resource (SOCR) and the Stanford University Datasets for "The Elements of Statistical Learning" are great repositories of educational and computational resources. This data set is merged from a larger data set that tracked heart disease in Africa for adults 30 to 65 years. The reasons for the data set: has abundance of data with valid continuous data. The 25,000 data points have a range of 27kgs to 200kgs with the resolution of the recorded weight at 10gms, all of which provide a very usable series of wide and dense values.
