Fall 2025 Inquiry Miner Mayhem Programs
The newly rebranded New Mexico Tech MechE Mayhem Robotics Education Program is an open-source comprehensive educational curriculum developed by engineering and science students at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology to assist in the education of future NM STEM student. Our program seeks to provide engaging hands-on, STEM projects and classroom curriculum support to k-12 schools across the state of New Mexico. In the 2023-24 academic year we supported programs and events at 47 schools and engaged with over 6,000 students and teachers.
The program has grown from supporting three high schools with at-home robotics projects during the spring of 2020 to 30 schools in the 2022-23 academic year and 47 in the 2023-24 academic year. Our programs support schools with a limited number of robotics kits, educational content, teacher training opportunities, and NMT student technical support and mentorship as needed and available.
If you would like to see if the program is a fit for your classroom or club, please contact us or fill out the intake form to join as one of our schools for the 2025-2026 school year.
