The Colorado Department of Education defines "Professional" using the following descriptors:
time & work management
career literacy
grit and resilience
work ethic; dependable and reliable
In my opinion, being professional means showing respect to my supervisor and my colleagues, taking responsibility, and being observational of small details. It’s about being reliable, communicating well, and putting real effort into what you do. Professionalism isn’t just about results or deadlines it also shows in your attitude, how you treat people, and the care you put into your work.
My goal throughout this internship is to see what career I would want to. It was also to be more confident in the work i show.
After many internships, i have decided to go to CU Boulder. The degree is Journalism with a minor in sports journalism.
