The MISD elementary librarians (Library Media Specialists) in McKinney ISD collaborate to a create a book list for our students each school year. The books included on these lists are selected by a committee of librarians, but all MISD elementary librarians are encouraged to submit recommendations. The titles are chosen by their perceived ability to “hook” our young readers and make them want to read more. BEE stands for “Books Everyone Enjoys.”
