You can access the Manage Syllabus to check the pending syllabi for validation through the option available on your Institution Page in Blackboard.
Once in the Manage Syllabus application, you will find a panel with search options (by program and by professor) that you can browse.
To check the pending syllabi for validation, click on the Role Coordinator Option.
The Coordinator's review is initiated in 3 situations:
When you check the checkbox popped up after clicking your name at the top-right corner in the Manage Syllabus:
This way, what is described in the following cases is not applicable, Coordinator revision and validation will always be necessary.
2. When the syllabus has no metasyllabus. As long as it has a Coordinator assigned, it will go through the Coordinator review phase.
3. When the syllabus has a metasyllabus and at least one of the following cases (exceptions) occurs. The system will automatically detect it, notifying the Professor to fill in the reasons for the modifications. If none of these cases occurs, the syllabus will skip Coordinator status, going directly to the Program Management status instead.

The syllabus does not comply with the % of asynchronous/synchronous defined for the subject in the structure.
Methodology

or

When the system detects any of these cases, the Coordinator will see the following message when accessing the syllabus to be reviewed:
To review the reasons for exceptions, the Coordinator may go to the Track Review section, expand the line corresponding to the state change, where detected criteria and the Professor's justifications are listed.
In addition, the sections in question will display an orange warning symbol.
Once reviewed, the Coordinator may accept by clicking the checkbox Approved Exception and Send syllabus to Program Management which will allow the approval flow to continue. Alternatively, by clicking Reject syllabus, the Coordinator will inform the Professor of the reasons for rejection and indicate a new delivery date, returning the syllabus to Professor status.
By clicking Reject Syllabus, a screen will be displayed for the Coordinator to indicate,
1.) The new deadline for the faculty to review the comments from the coordinator. By default, a 2-days deadline is set but it can be modified.
2.) What syllabus section(s) need to be corrected. The Coordinator must add comments for the professor.
