Showing Films and Copyright / Fair Use
As a district, we have access to Swank Movie Licensing USA. This provides our district with the ability to show films found on the Swank Movie database without copyright infringement. For details about what you can show and how you can show it, check out this guide. At the high school level, we have access to Swank Movie Licensing USA and Swank K12 Streaming.
Hoopla and Kanopy are for single user use. Students need to access the films through their own BPL card.
Simultaneous Access to Texts
Need access to multiple copies of a text? Let us know!
For eBooks or audio books, complete this form. **Not ALL books are available digitally in simultaneous access format. After you complete the form, you will be contacted to confirm availability and access.
For multiple copies of a print book, please email Mary Millette or Erinn Horrigan the title, author, and any other relevant information about the book (version if that is relevant). Copies of the book will be ordered through interlibrary loan from the Hudson Public Library. You will be notified when they are available. This can take a week or more for your books to come in depending on availability in the public library system.
