ELA Component

I started the PBL project while in class and was given a variety of topics to choose from in regards to the focus of my project.

I decided upon what the focus of my project would be while also consulting with other classmates in an effort to make the best decision. After this, I I discussed topic with that being a chess game designed in the online scratch software.

I created my google site and implemented a theme for what I wanted to site to look like while also coming up with ideas to complete PBL Task 1 and 2.

I officially completed PBL Task 1 and 2 after presenting my background research which is included in my google site. After this, I successfuly submitted proof of my completion on Schoology.

I was presented with the goal to complete task 3 and 4 of the PBL by the end of the week.

I started conducting research on what STEM education is, why it is important, and how it can shape the future, while also completing all of the other necessary tasks for the 3rd step of the PBL.

I started working on the "My PBL page" component of my website by completing tasks like the introduction, analysis, real-world connection, and other things while also adding pictures of my process of building the chess game in Scratch.

I successfully finished PBL tasks 3&4 and submitted proof of my completion via Schoology.

I had the goal of completing PBL Task 5&6 by a certain time and went ahead and added more information to the "My PBL page" portion of my project while also brainstorming several investigation questions.

After a long thought out process, I came up with my investigation questions and added the questions to my site and began thinking of how I should answer these questions.

I successfully finished answering all 4 of my investigation questions and as a result finished PBL Task 5&6

I created my own brochure in hopes to to further promote my project and the school, while also adding a QR code to my google site so anyone can access the brochure online.

I recorded a video of my project running in Scratch and uploaded the video to Youtube, as well as putting the video onto my website so others can see it.

I worked on the social studies component of my project and added a page specific for this part onto my website.

I added some more changes to my google site so that it could be ready for the final product.
