Single use plastics are plastics that can only be used once and are then thrown away. They are bad for the environment because its means they must create more plastic to just be thrown away.
Micro plastics have been reported in food for human consumption. Micro plastics have also been inhaled by humans. This is bad for our health.
Plastics don't break down and are becoming a permanent pollutant.
Animals are eating and getting stuck in the plastic causing them to die.

Plastic damages soil and poisons groundwater. This causes harm to the species of animals that drink water from the ground.
You could use reusable water bottles, containers and fabrics to store your food and water. Using these could help minimise/eliminate single use plastics making the environment we live in a better place.
Plastic is cheap, strong and lightweight source making it an easy material to make and buy. Its really bad for the environment though.
