The Blueprint for Continuous Improvement (Blueprint) is DoDEA’s strategic plan for school years 2018/19 through 2023/24.

The Europe Big Four (Big 4) is the Region's focus on continuous improvement for four critical success factors from the DoDEA Blueprint: Rigor, Learning Walkthrough Tool, Focused Collaboration, and the DoDEA Comprehensive Assessment System (DoDEA CAS).

Wiesbaden High School's Goals and Action Plan are anchored in, and support, the philosophy and vision set forth by the Department of Defense Education Activity, the DoDEA Blueprint, and the Europe Region Big Four.

The Blueprint for Continuous Improvement outlines five Goals and Key Result Indicators, along with DoDEA's Core Values.

These organization elements are the foundation of Wiesbaden High School's work.

Wiesbaden HS continues to build a collaborative culture focused on student learning in schools through Focused Collaboration. With guidance and resources based in DoDEA’s (2016) PLC Guidance for Collaboration Time, our educators will improve instructional practice through job-embedded Professional Learning within the framework of Focused Collaboration.

The Learning Walkthrough is a systematic and coordinated method of gathering data on instructional practice and how students are learning in order to inform district- and school-level decisions, and inform collaborative discussion. Recording of Learning Walkthrough experiences are done on the Learning Walkthrough Tool, which informs collaborative conversation between the observer and the observed, following the walkthrough.
