Ruben Osuna Martin, known as "Herr Ruben" joined Hainerberg Elementary School, currently WES, as Host Nation in 2016. He teaches children Kindergarten to Fifth grade about culture, language, and experiences in Germany.
He is coming from the Upper School at Frankfurt International School. In 2015 he obtained the certification as official examiner of Cervantes Institute for all levels for Spanish (A1-C2). Previously he has worked for two years at Heidelberg Pädogogium in Heidelberg as a language teacher.
In 2014 he finished his MA in Sixth Form Education, Foreign Language Teaching and Vocational Training at Valencian International University and obtained his Qualified Teacher Status by the Department of Education of the United Kingdom.
In 2012 he has graduated in the University of Granada in English Linguistics and Literature, also including in his study program other languages such as German, Italian, Chinese and Spanish.
He is the youngest of a 4 member military family passionate for languages. He is a team working person whose hobbies are sports, animals, languages and cooking.
Markus Weber, also known as "Herr Weber" joined Wiesbaden Elementary School in 2023 as Local National and Host Nation teacher. He teaches children Kindergarten to Fifth grade about customs and useful vocabulary related to Germany and Europe.
He started his career at the University of Passau in Lower Bavaria, Germany where he graduated in 2019 as a foreign language teacher with a teaching exam. Experiences in teaching German include also Pro Bono work as a German Language Aid and teaching French in Montreal as German Language Assistant.
Herr Weber has four brothers and served two years in the German Army. He is a great admirer of the American way of life and grateful for the opportunity to be part of WES.
