Good Morning,
And thank you for covering HN2 today đ You will only teach K-2 on your own today. Since it is challenging to wrap your head around three different programs, I streamlined one program for all three grade levels.
Your schedule today looks like this:
8.20-9.05 co-teaching 5th (Ms Singleton) with Miss Purcell (Miss Purcell substitutes for HN1)
9.10-9.55 co-teaching 4th (Ms Rothen) with Miss Purcell (Miss Purcell substitutes for HN1)
10.00-10.45 co-teaching 3rd (Ms Townzen) with Miss Purcell (Miss Purcell substitutes for HN1)
 10.50-11.20 Prep
 11.20-12.05 teaching K (Mr Lamm)
 12.10-12.55 teaching 1 (Ms Urbaniak)
13.00-13.45 Lunch Break
13.45-14.30 teaching 2nd (Ms Smith)
Today, the kids will revise St. Martin and then learn about the Viking boy Wickie and the Vikings. You can scroll through the activities and choose what you like.
Feel free to use Classdojo (credentials: markus.weber9@web.de, password: Sven22031992. (don't forget the dot :) ) as a organizational tool and all the rewards in the desk in my HN studio (brown corner) as incentives.
Just a friendly reminder, the red folder in the teacher cubby desk has different accommodations to ensure a safe learning environment and provide a better outlook of the different grade levels of the day. For a better understanding we encourage to take a look. As it is confidential, please put the documents back after reading them. Thank you for your hard work! DANKE!
Activities:
-students repeat what they have learnt about St. Martin
-a lot of the students kids are soldiers: Is this what a soldier looks like to them? Why/why not
-students can sing the song (again) "Laterne, Laterne, Sonne Mond und Sterne" (Lantern, lantern, sun moon and stars) can everybody sing
activities:
-Show them the Wickieland which is part of Holiday Park
-Wickie is an originally Swedish TV show, that has been adapted in Germany and has been popular for many years. Ask them if they have seen/heard about it
