Book care
Book care is an important part of being a good library patron. Please encourage students to handle their library books with respect and care. It is important to keep library books clean and protect them from drinks, food, pets or other situations that may cause damage to books. It is recommended that students do not put water bottles and books in the same bag to prevent water-damaged books. Students can checkout new books when they return their old ones. Please have a special place for your library books to keep them safe and returned on time.

Lost or damaged books
Lost or damaged books
Many parents realize that a lost or damaged library book can interrupt a series or prevent other students from checking out desired titles. The school is unable to accept money to replace a lost or damaged book. Parents often choose an online retailer, such as Amazon.com or Barnesandnoble.com, and donate a book of the same or similar title, and binding (hardcover). The school budget does not get reimbursed with lost item funds, which is why we appreciate your donation to replace lost or damaged books. If you notice damage, please bring the book to the I.C. staff, so it can be repaired or removed from the collection.

Circulation policy
Circulation policy
2nd-5th grade students may check out three books at a time.
1st grade and Kindergarten students may check out two books at a time.
Pre-K students may check out one book at a time.
Each book may be renewed one time.
Parents can check out books too! Parents, make an appointment with the information specialist and we will create a library account for you.
