Listen, discuss and double-check.
Listen to the original conclusion of the story (part 2) carefully, possibly with a headset. Take notes on the sequence of events (exercise #4). Make sure you use the pluperfect tenses used in the story.
Discuss the ending within your group. Make comments, express your opinion, state whether you liked the ending and provide supporting details. Be prepared to report some of your opinions and comments to the the teacher and the rest of the class.
Read the story as you listen to the whole story again. You may read the story on the hard copy provided by teacher or download a copy here.
In pairs or small groups.
read the the statements below and: a. describe if you agree or disagree with the staments; b. collect evidence in the text to support your opinion; c. decide if the evidence you collected is strong enough;
share conclusions with other groups. If you do not agree, revise the statements and discuss and try to come to a consensus.
write the explanation of your thoughts. Add your paragraph to your doc (exercise # 5)
