Vocabulary, listen, learn, write and record.
Anticipatory set.
In order to better understand the story that you will hear, you need to study some vocabulary. Open the link to Quizlet or on Wordwall and study the flashcards. Practice with the words and expressions several times, through the flashcards and the games. You may also practice and play with the flashcards on Gimkit at this link.
Open a new Google document. Listen to the story carefully, possibly with a headset. As you listen, take notes on the sequence of events (exercise # 1). Try to use the pluperfect tense.

At the end of part 1, get together with your partner/group and write a creative ending that could match the first part of the story on your Google doc (exercise # 2). Make sure you follow the guidelines:
The paragraph must be between 150 and 200 words; use pluperfect; keep main characters and characteristics of genre (mystery).
Rehearse the writing with your group, come to an agreement to assign roles and act your lines out and then record your ending on Vocaroo.com. Copy and paste the link to your recording onto your Google doc (exercise #3). Only when each group has uploaded their ending, you may proceed to the original conclusion (Part 2) on page 2.
