Military and Family Life Counselor (MFLC) services are available to provide telephonic and/or video counseling sessions for students, families, parents, teachers, and staff to address non-medical issues. In-person sessions are available when not restricted due to COViS-19 pandemic.
The MFLC Program for students addresses: Self-esteem issues, communication and relationships at home and school, life skills, such as problem solving and adjustment, changes at home, such as deployment, reunion, divorce, grief, and behavioral issues. Parents, teachers, and staff are eligible for MFLC services to address stress management, resiliency, and coping skills to use during a pandemic.
All sessions are confidential (except for Duty-To-Warn situations) with no documentations or recording. MFLC services are available during school hours, however times can be flexible to accommodate work schedules.
