It takes so many people to create just the simple clothes we wear. Think of the impact it all makes from the farmer in the field, to the textile workers who spin the cotton to thread, the engineers, technologists and mathematicians who work together to create the amazing machines that spin cotton to thread and then turn thread into fabric, that is then turned into a t-shirt and designed by an artist/designer who then entrusts people to sell and market their product.
