Creating a three to five-year plan is the foundation of changing from being a culture of teaching to a culture of learning.
First, spend some time getting to know your school. Learn about your school from all stakeholder's perspectives. What are they currently doing? What are their beliefs when it comes to data, assessments, standards, social-emotional learning, behavior management, and most important student learning?
Next, think, about what you want to see take place at the school. What is the end goal? What do you want your whole school to accomplish at the end? Create your end goal and begin planning backward.
**IMPORTANT** School plans are fluid, broken into small manageable steps, and should focus on goals that ALL stakeholders can meet
