Franz Marc was a famous German Expressionist artist who was famous for painting animals. One notable painting is the "Blue Horse". Franz Marc was born on February 8, 1880 in Munich. His career was painting and became famous for his works. He died on March 4, 1916 in Verdun, France. Art lovers can see some of his works in the Franz Marc museum!
