Media Club

The Media Club is a group of students who  meet twice a month usually on two Wednesday's after school and work on library/media related projects such as "adopt a shelf program," displays, "Battle of the Books", online book promotions, book talks, and more.  These students also assist Ms. Lake throughout the school year with events such as Teen Read Week, Aviano MHS Book Swap, and The Mystery Night.  Additionally, Media Club members assist Ms. Lake with shelving books and developing library instructional videos.   Students are required to stay in the IC until 1720 and if the Media Club ends early, students will remain in Cyber Café until 1720.  Students are  eligible to take the activity bus home.  Just ask Ms. Lake to request a bus pass for you in advanced (2 day notice is the best).

Media Club:  Every year this program is a hit.  Again this year I had 15 high school students participate and 33 middle school students participate.  I added the after school component by having Students stayed after school on Tuesdays. They helped with a number of tasks to include input on book trailers, developed book pairings for 6th grade reading class, and started work on an information video.  The mystery night was a success with 45 students participating.
